Dr. Andrew Li
FOUNDER · SKIN CANCER MEDICINE
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip SCCA, Cert AAAM. In 2001 he joined the training program for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. During this time he spent 2 years in North Queensland where he treated thousands of patients with skin cancer and gained extensive experience in this area. He successfully completed all requirements of the college and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004. Dr Li has also pursued further studies specific to Skin Cancer Medicine. He successfully completed all requirements of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and was awarded a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2010. In order to achieve highest possible accuracy of diagnosing early skin cancer, Dr Li has also completed an advanced skin cancer diagnosed course through the Skin Cancer College Australasia and has been awarded a Certificate of Dermoscopy. Over the years he has successfully treated tens of thousands of patients with all forms of skin cancers range from early to advanced skin cancers, from melanoma to non melanoma skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma using surgical and non surgical treatment techniques. His high level of surgical skills and expertise in the areas of skin cancer medicine and male circumcision enable his patients to achieve best possible treatment outcomes in almost all cases that he has treated.

With a strong foundation in medical and biological sciences, I have cultivated a particular passion for the skin—the body's largest and most complex organ. Over the past five years at Drummoyne Cosmetic and Skin Cancer Clinic in Sydney, I have honed my expertise through hands-on experience, complemented by recurrent professional training at the Australian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. My practice reflects a commitment to combining scientific knowledge with cutting-edge technology to achieve optimal skin health and aesthetic outcomes.

No referral is required. You can book directly online or call our clinic to schedule a skin check, pico laser consultation, or PDT treatment with our team.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete your patient registration form. Bring your Medicare card and any relevant medical records or referral letters. Our doctor will perform a thorough assessment and discuss your treatment plan.
A full body skin check typically takes 20–30 minutes. Dr Li uses dermoscopy for high-accuracy assessment of moles and skin lesions. If any suspicious lesions are found, treatment options will be discussed on the same visit.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, cash, and HICAPS for instant private health fund rebates on eligible services. Medicare rebates apply to certain skin cancer treatments.
Most patients describe Pico Laser as a mild snapping sensation. We use a cooling device and topical anaesthetic to ensure your comfort. Downtime is minimal — most patients return to normal activities the same day.
